Smallholders

Smallholder discussion groups will continue in the Lothians & Borders and Aberdeenshire.  These discussion groups bring together a mix of new entrants and experienced smallholders.  Meetings vary from on-farm, practical events to winter evening workshops.  Topics to date have included soil, grassland, paperwork requirements and lambing. In the coming year, topics will depend on local demand as well as an emphasis on agroforestry where appropriate and relevant.
