Ayrshire Women in Agriculture Group – Understanding Carbon – How to Reduce Emissions Whilst Improving Business Performance

The second meeting of the year for the Ayrshire Women in Agriculture group will be held on the 28th of October starting at 10:30am on the topic of ‘Understanding Carbon – How to Reduce Emissions whilst Improving Business Performance’. One of SAC’s environmental consultants, Seamus Murphy, will cover:
  • An overview of carbon auditing and sources of emissions.
  • Examples of where emissions savings can be achieved in different farming systems.
  • The ability to understand what carbon audit results mean for your business.
  • How business performance and carbon efficiency can go hand in hand.
