CT scanning can be used alongside back fat scanning to identify tups which have superior carcass quality.  This can help improve the quality and yield of meat sold, potentially increasing farm profitability.  Join us to hear from Kirsty McLean from the SRUC CT scanning unit on the work they do scanning tups across the country and from Ed Brant a sheep breeder from Lincolnshire who has been scanning tups for several years and has seen the benefits it has brought to his flock.  This event will be relevant to breeders who are interested in increasing the commercial value of their tups and also commercial sheep breeders who want to understand more about the information available to them when buying tups.
