Cereal Trails Open Evening – Lanark

For the third year, FAS is bringing you the opportunity to attend the Cereals Trials Open Evening at Drumalbin Farm, near Lanark.

Returning to update us on the latest news within crop & plant health is SRUC’s, Fiona Burnett.  The evening will include a tour of the trial plots and discussions on Integrated Pest Management, varieties and fungicide programmes.

Results from a recent costings group will provide the base for discussion on profitability in arable cropping in the Lanarkshire area.  This will helps farmers to make informed choices on these subjects and promote self-awareness of costs.
