Evening Workshop: Biodiversity Management on Hill Farms
What can be done to enhance biodiversity on hill farms?
This evening workshop will highlight a range of biodiversity priorities within the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park and explore the types of management that can be incorporated into hill farms across Scotland to maintain or enhance biodiversity on peatlands, moorlands, woodlands, wetlands and at the sides of rivers and burns.
Please come ready to discuss what biodiversity management you may already be doing on your hill farm, what else you may be interested in doing and what might be constraining you from doing more biodiversity management on your farm.
The workshop is particularly relevant to hill farmers & their advisors.
Specialist speakers from:
- Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park
- SRUC’s Hill & Mountain Research Centre
- SAC Consulting
