Farming Evolution for a Nature Revolution – Ayrshire
The farmed landscape plays a vital role in combating, halting and reversing nature decline in Scotland, if the sector cannot meet the challenge, no one can. Complimentary to other funding options to support, the Nature Restoration Fund is a relatively new scheme that offers capital support for nature infrastructure, seeking innovative ideas to tackle the biodiversity crisis and landscape scale. Few businesses in Scotland are able to provide landscape scale change without help, and nature doesn’t always respect the farm boundary, for this reason, there is focus on farmers and crofters coming together, forming strong partnerships and collaborating with others.
So join the Scottish Farm Advisory Service (FAS) this autumn as we travel across Scotland, hearing from the farmers that are making it happen!
