Grassland Roadshow – Uist
Come and hear from a range of speakers on Tuesday evening, on the topic of grass!
We have some of the best grass growers over on a visit – Irish advisors who will talk about how they manage their grassland. And as many of us are getting soils analysed as part of the Whole Farm Plan, we will look at what these reports mean and how to use the information to improve grassland for grazing or silage.
- Come along at 6.30pm for some Dunes Cabin soup and sandwiches, 7pm for talks.
- Soil analysis – what does it mean? Lorna Galloway, Grassland Specialist
- Lessons from Ireland – Teagasc
- The use of Phosphate and Potash to increase yield and animal performance – Lorna Galloway
- Quick update on the new FFIS scheme and CAGS.
Please book here or call the SAC Balivanich office on 01870602336 to join us on Tuesday 15th July at 6.30pm in Balivanich Hall.
This is a free event and open to everyone to attend. Booking essential.
