Hydrogen from Farm Renewables – What are the opportunities?

The Scottish and UK Governments’ stated objectives of decarbonising the road transport sector includes a role for hydrogen as a transport fuel. Many farmers with renewable assets or potential sites that are constrained by grid availability have shown interest in entering this market as producers of green hydrogen. This meeting brings together some of the key players in the development of this market and provides an update on its current status and on the opportunities that will arise as it develops.

The potential to use hydrogen to power farm vehicles will also be discussed.
