This is the second meeting of the Inverness Soil & Nutrient Network and the theme of ‘Nutrient interactions’ will follow on from the discussions during the first event.
As yields increase with new varieties especially spring barley it is becoming extremely important we ensure the crop is fed well and doesn’t suffer any deficiencies during the growing season limiting yield.
Nutrient balance is crucial for the economics of crop production but also ensuring the soil is not being depleted.
Our guest speaker is Mark Tripney from iSoils Ltd. Mark will lead the discussion on Nutrient interactions and how to manage them.
