Are you ready for lambing?
Managing sheep health, lambing and care of the newborn lamb are essential skills for a successful lambing and profitable sheep enterprise, and of course, reducing your Carbon Footprint and improving welfare.
Rhona Campbell, Veterinary Surgeon from Portree, Siobhan Macdonald and Eilidh Corr from SAC Inverness will lead sessions on ewe and lamb health on the run up to lambing and practical sessions on lambing, using a simulator.
The focus of this meeting is practical lambing, concentrating on:

This event is suitable for beginners and experienced – there will be something for everyone to take away.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to practice intraperitoneal (IP) injections in dead lambs and difficult deliveries with the aid of a lambing simulator.
If you are pregnant or think you may be, it is advised you do not attend this meeting.
