Come along to our practical workshop with Mr Bill MacKinnon of ScotBeef who will explain, in depth, how grading is executed, the presentation of fat cattle to the abattoir and discussion on breeds of cattle which suit the retailer, the supermarkets.  He will also examine the fat lamb market.

Robert Logan of SAC Consulting will give an extensive update on the beef and sheep industry, in addition to changes and threats post March 2019.  He will show the importance of benchmarking your business to improve output.

As this is an on farm meeting in February please ensure you wear warm, waterproof clothing, and suitable waterproof footwear.
