The third and final meeting of the Moray Soil & Nutrient Network Farm. 
This is the third of three meetings demonstrating the value of our soils and how to make the best use of nutrients. At this meeting we will focus on grassland, maximising efficiency and saving money. Dr David Lawson, a Grassland Agronomist is our guest speaker.
Topics for discussion
- Comparing grass analyses – with particular focus on comparing results from grass that has had digestate applied with a slurry mix application and grass that has had no organic manure? What is the effect on grass quality?
- The value of digestate applied to grass, and when and how to best apply it.
- How to increase clover within the sward.
- Choosing the correct grass varieties/mix for your farm.
This is a meeting, not to be missed by anyone looking to improve farm profitability!
