New Entrants to Farming: Collaborative Farming (Borders)
The next Borders FAS New Entrant meeting will be held on Thursday 7th March, 1.30pm at Kaimflat, Kelso, TD5 7QN.
Collaborative farming can offer alternative income sources and help build business resilience as we prepare for the uncertainties around future trade and farm support post Brexit.
This meeting will provide a platform to discuss how we can improve collaboration between farmers in the Borders, with a focus on including livestock in arable rotations.
The benefits and barriers to doing this will be discussed at Kaimflat, where a working example of collaboration between arable and livestock farmers will be demonstrated.
This is a free event open to all with refreshments provided.
