New Entrants to Farming: Health Matters (Caithness)

As we approach the darker nights and winter starts to set in, one of the key foundations of a productive and profitable farming/crofting enterprise is animal health and nutrition.

Speakers Include;

Following on from feedback at our past new entrants meetings and the current concern over winter feed stocks we have asked Iain MacDonald from Norvite to come along and share his knowledge on winter feeding and the nutritional values of silage and hay.

Local vet Tom Southall will be covering a session on the vital management of tups and ewes ahead of tupping time.
