New Entrants to Farming – Setting Up A Profitable Enterprise (Morayshire)

Come along to the Boharm Public Hall on 22nd January where we will hear from Max Esson, a local new entrant farmer, who will give us a “virtual” farm tour and explain their farm enterprise.  Max will give us an insight into how he started up his business and what challenges he faced on that journey.

SAC Consulting’s Lorraine Logan will discuss enterprise profitability and finance.  Lorraine will also cover how to complete a SWOT (Strengths/Weaknesses/Opportunities/Threats) analysis and partial budget.  Sources of information and support for new entrants will be highlighted throughout.

Attendees will then have the opportunity to collectively review Max’s business, and suggest strategies to progress the business further, by completing a SWOT analysis and partial budget
