The 3rd Lanarkshire FAS New Entrant meeting of the 2018/19 series will be held on Wednesday 12th December, 7.30pm at Radstone Hotel, Larkhall, ML9 2TZ.
Modern farming now includes many precision agricultural devices which are used to improve arable, milk, fruit and vegetable and meat production practices across the world and incorporates some very sophisticated technologies. These advanced devices and robotic systems can be used on farms of any scale and will allow farms to be more profitable, efficient, and environmentally friendly.
This meeting will cover some of the technology available with the beef, sheep and grassland sectors to improve productivity and profitability.
This is a free event open to all new entrants and young farmers with refreshments provided.
