Organic Flocks and Wildlife Walks – Bairnkine Farm

Join us for a farm walk at Bairnkine, Jedburgh, to hear from Matt and Lucy Tile about how habitat creation has improved the efficiency of their 2000 ewe and store cattle organic grazing system with fenced off water margins and field sub division with hedges and shelter belts.

On top of this they have restored and created new woodland and 9 ponds on the farm which are teaming with wildlife and plant diversity.

Please note the walk extends to 3.5km on undulating ground. This will be followed by a free lunch.
