Many small-scale pig producers may have thought of using AI procedure on their pigs, and this meeting will help answer questions through discussion on using pig AI at small scale level.
We are delighted to have speaking at the meeting, industry expert Nigel Overend from Deer Park AI Centre, Ballymena. Nigel’s company provides pig semen to the commercial pig sector, as well as providing pig semen of Traditional Breeds which are used heavily by the smaller scale producer. We will discuss with Nigel the process of collecting pig semen and explain the AI procedure on farm.
