Sustainable slurry management is beneficial to both the farm business and the environment, maximising nutrient uptake while limiting the potential for pollution.
With recent confirmed changes to slurry storage and application requirements, including a 22 week storage requirement for non-pig slurry systems from 2026 and mandatory precision application of slurry from 2027, farmers are being urged to prepare now.
This meeting, supported by Stephen Field and Ian Cornforth, will cover rules and regulations and the landscape scale benefits of good practice in and around the water environment.
