This meeting forms part of a series of meetings being held around the country.
This on farm event will look at optimising flock health and maximising financial returns. As a working knowledge of body condition scoring is essential in meeting these aims, we will provide an opportunity to practice these skills.
We will also look at the importance of management both pre and post tupping. The post-purchase nutrition of tups will be highlighted along with nutritional needs of both ewe and tup during the tupping season, and thereafter during the winter period.
We will discuss how liver fluke has the potential to impact on sheep health and welfare, as well as flock profitability. We will then be given a market update.
Please remember to wear clean clothes and footwear suitable for disinfection.
