Resilience Planning for Sheep (Isle of Mull)
As part of a series of Sheep Resilience meetings being held across the country, this on farm event will look at optimising flock health and outputs along with maximising financial returns.
We will look at the importance of management both pre and post tupping, including a practical session on body condition scoring and nutrition.
We will discuss how liver fluke has the potential to impact on sheep health and welfare and look at what, when & how to best manage this parasite.
Finally we will have a look at other markets for hill lamb opposed to selling lambs as store.
