In this workshop event, there will be an overview of what you are looking for when in comes to lamb selection for the abattoir. It will also touch upon the nutritional requirements for finishing taking into account variations between different breeds. We will then do a practical workshop on lamb selection. A butchery demonstration will also be carried out.
This event is being run in response to a training need which has been identified by smallholders in the area.
