We’re organising a new dairy focus group for the south-west of Scotland – this is your opportunity to get involved!
We can all benefit from sharing ideas about what works, and what we would do differently next time around. The aim of this new group is to encourage dairy farmers to learn from each other to improve profitability on their own farm.
The group will meet regularly for on-farm events during the winter months to discuss group led topics chosen as relevant to their needs. Examples might include how to improve energy efficiencies, improving herd performance and longevity or maximising milk from grass to reduce input costs, but the specific topics will be very much driven by the group led demand to ensure that members can maximise the benefit of their time attending each event.
The key to the success of this group will be active participation from all members and you will be asked to anonymously share some key pieces of information relating to the topic which will benefit the whole group.
This is the first meeting in this series of six events. A light dinner will be provided at this first meeting so booking is essential and spaces are limited. Please use the booking form below to confirm your attendance.
Bookings are no longer available for this event.
