On Wednesday 19th August we will be joined by Hugh McClymont, manager of the SRUC dairy farms, where over 500 cows are milked over 3 units on a variety of management systems. Hugh will give us an insight into how the herds are managed to maximise animal performance and health and welfare.
Key areas for discussion will be; improving cow comfort, managing milk quality, transition cow management and calf health. Follow the link to register and you will be sent a link to access the meeting which will start at 8pm.
