Upland Habitats and the Impacts of Herbivores – Isle of Mull
This meeting is targeted towards anyone interested in learning to assess herbivore impacts on upland heathland habitats and blanket bogs.
The day will include a short indoor session looking at some of the basic principles of the survey technique outlined in the Best Practice Management Guides and a site visit in the afternoon discussing the practical implications of carrying out a survey. Our speakers for the day include SAC Consulting’s Helen Bibby as well as Environmental and Wildlife Consultant and deer biologist, Prof. Rory Putman.
