Arable businesses are seeking ways to improve their resilience what-ever the future brings. We don’t know yet whether there will be a Brexit deal between the UK and the EU or not; but either way we will assess the impact these changes are having and may to have on the cereal and oilseeds markets in the year ahead. We will also look at global trends in the cereal, whisky and other market sectors. In the face of uncertainty what can farmers do to make their own system and business more resilient. Are there new crops you could be growing?
We will look at the potential for alternative crops in protein, fibre, health and nutrition and more.
