We will visit a family business that has made their idea a reality at Thorneybank Farm Shop. Penny and Stuart Stephen will lead you through how they made their farm shop venture a success.

the workshop will then move to Rothienorman Hall, where Kerry Allison – SAC Food & Drink Specialist – will lead the rest of the day. This will cover:

• Customer needs,
• Marketing and how to communicate your product
• Testing your ideas
• How to draw up a cashflow
• Business plan templates.

The meeting will be interactive with plenty of time to ask questions. So if you are working on your own new business venture, bring it along for bespoke advice!
