The aim of a successful lambing is to produce lambs with high vigour from ewes which are in the correct condition to avoid lambing difficulties, metabolic disorders and have a good supply of quality colostrum and milk.

This meeting will cover:

  • Ewe behaviour
  • Body condition scoring
  • Nutrition requirements in mid to late pregnancy
  • Optimising forage
  • Managing feed in extreme weather
