Grass is a farm or croft’s biggest asset and the lowest cost feed that can be grown. At this meeting SAC Specialist Poppy Frater will be covering all elements of good grassland management and soil health.
Along with a farm visit to a nearby farm where we will be doing some hands-on grass measuring we will also be covering –
• Soil structure
• How to grow grass
• Getting the best out of your grass
• Reseeding and grazing systems
