Woodland: Making it Work for You – A Soil Association event
Achaphubuil, Fort William
A practical walk and talk afternoon event exploring the benefits of woodland creation, management and funding opportunities.
Includes discussion on riparian sites, shelter belt planting, agroforestry and how to manage existing woodland. Come along to hear and discuss what trees can do for you.
Speakers include Iona Hyde of Woodland Trust Scotland, Ian Collier of Forestry Commission Scotland and Michael Foxley of Achaphubuil Croft.
Free to farmers, crofters, foresters and land managers to attend.
Lunch will be provided.
The Camusnagaul Ferry (£3.60 return) will take you over as required, then it’s a short walk to Treslaig village hall where the event will start.
