The gathering will take place on ZOOM and although aimed at Young Crofters (under 41) is also open to anyone.

Discover the ways young people are finding to make crofting part of their lives and stay in their communities.
A selection of video shorts from young crofters, followed by Q & A.
Session 2 – Crofting during Covid – 12:30pm to 1:30pm
Interactive session with Mentimeter followed by an open discussion, share your experiences and coping strategies.
Session 3 – Adding Value – 1:45pm to 2:30pm
How Scottish Crofting Produce and Croft Holidays can add value. Beth Rose, Birchwood Croft, shares her experience of SCP and QMS.
Session 4 – Crofting Policy – 2:45 pm to 4:00pm
What’s the Plan? Join a Q & A with policy and decision makers including SAC, Rural Payments, Nature.Scot, Crofting Commission and Scot Gov Crofting Policy team
The day ends with the opening of nominations for YOUNG CROFTERS AWARDS 2020
