Nutrient Planning, Soil Health, Rotations and Resilient Farming – Balmakewan

Book event

How can we get more from the nutrients already available on our farms? Come along to learn about practical approaches to nutrient budgeting, soil health management and rotational planning. Whether you’re interested in reducing input costs, improving soil performance or increasing system resilience, this meeting will provide ideas, discussion and real examples relevant to a range of farming systems.

We will also be out in the fields to assess soils in different parts of the rotation, discuss practical indicators of soil health and consider how management decisions can influence nutrient availability and crop performance. This will be an opportunity to view soil structure and share experiences with fellow farmers.

Open to all farmers interested in building healthier soils and more resilient farming systems.

The event will include both indoor and outdoor sessions, so please bring suitable clothing and footwear.

Lunch will be provided, and booking is essential for catering purposes.
