In this episode of FAS TV, we visit Drumsleed Farm, home to a pedigree Simmental herd, and meet the family behind Drumsleed Meats. We explore how they’ve successfully diversified through sustainable product development and direct-to-consumer food sales. We also head to neighbouring Westerton Farm to see how diversification into retail, on-farm experiences, and online sales has strengthened their business. Working together, the two farms are collaborating to create ready meals using high-quality, underutilised local beef, combined with fresh vegetables - bringing a true farm-to-table approach to life.
