New Entrants to Farming: Take Nothing for Granted – event summary

The event was held on Friday 10^th March in the HelloDigital Meeting room at the An Lochran building in Inverness.

The guest speaker was SAC Consulting’s Kara Craig who took the group through farm efficiency and support mechanisms. The meeting was well attended by a group comprised of regular attendees and new interested individuals and conversation was good, particularly following lunch. The session was broken into two parts with farm efficiency in the morning and support mechanisms in the afternoon. The event generated a lot of interest with some attendees intending to pursue better record keeping and others grant applications.

The group also expressed interest in potentially continuing the group in a possible discussion group.
