Join us for an engaging session with Fiona Crowden SRUC Veterinary Investigation Officer, who will share expert advice to help you prepare for a successful season.

Fiona will guide us through the key steps for successful lambing and calving while covering the neonatal diseases you may encounter this season and discussing practical strategies for prevention and treatment.

While the session will focus on approaches suitable within organic farming systems, the information will be highly relevant to all livestock farmers. Many of the management techniques, insights and preventative strategies discussed can be applied just as effectively on non-organic farms.

This will be an informal and interactive session, with discussion and learning from real experiences. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions, share challenges, and talk through real-life scenarios from your own farm.

Whether you are managing an organic system, considering reducing antibiotic use, or simply looking for practical advice to support healthy lambs and calves this spring, this session will provide useful insights you can take back to your farm.

Come along to learn, share experiences and get ready for a successful lambing and calving season.
