Crofting Discussion Group Kilmuir – Lessons from English Commons Study Tour
Join us to hear Janette share what she learned from the recent Commons Study Tour to North Yorkshire and the Lake District.
The tour brought together Clerks, Committee Members and Crofters of Common Grazings to explore how other common land groups are tackling shared challenges. In this session, Janette will reflect on what was learned, highlight examples of good practice, and discuss how these ideas could be applied to common grazings in Scotland.
This is an excellent opportunity to hear about different approaches to grazing management, governance and collaboration, share experiences, and take part in a discussion about opportunities for your own common grazings.
As previous years, the amazing cakes and refreshments from Kilmuir Hall will be available!
Booking is essential.
