Hello and welcome!
27 September 2018Welcome to the new look of the Scottish Farm Advisory Service (FAS) website and to the first post in our new blog.
My name is Will Searle and it’s my job to keep the Farm Advisory Service website and social media running and I also help to produce videos and podcasts for the service.
Over the coming weeks and months, we’ll be using this blog to tell stories about and around FAS. What does it take to make Scotland’s Farm Advisory Service work, who are the people who make it happen and who is the service helping?
If you’ve got any questions about the website, social media, videos or podcasts, I’d love to hear from you so please do drop me an email with any questions. Similarly, if you want to tell your story about how the Farm Advisory Service has helped you then, brilliant! FAS is all about sharing good practice and knowledge to help farmers and crofters boost their profitability and sustainability. If we can show other farmers and crofters across Scotland how that good practice and knowledge has helped you, then it’s more likely to be taken up by someone else, so don’t by shy in coming forward!
I look forward to hearing from you!
