Ayrshire Women in Agriculture – Policy Update

This summer meeting is a chance for women in agriculture to come together, hear about the new policies and grants coming in to effect in Scottish agriculture this year. It will also be a valuable opportunity to network with like -minded rural women and a free lunch will also be provided.

In this event we will cover changes to the whole farm plan, updates on the new greening policy and the new capital grant scheme with opportunities to ask questions and discuss all of these upcoming changes and how they are going to apply to your farms.

This event will help you break down the detail of the new requirements as well as new grant funding opportunities. The meeting is to be held at the training room at Auchincruive with catering provided by a local farm business. We will also have the opportunity for a short walk outside to look at a herbal ley and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of its incorporation in grassland rotations.

Whether you have previously attended women in agriculture events, or this is your first time, this meeting is open to all. The more the merrier!
