Choosing Arable Software for your Farm Business
Farm software can help you save time, money and meet compliance requirements, but choosing the right farm software for your needs can be confusing with so many options out there. Join us to find out what you need to think about when choosing your arable farm software, and how to make the most out of the package that you choose. Hear from SAC Consultant Neil Melville on the requirements of arable software for your farm business, and farmer Hamish Knottenbelt to hear why they chose the software they did, and how it is benefitting their business.
Neil Melville is a consultant in the Cupar office, providing a range of agricultural advice with a focus on farm and estate management and agronomy. Hamish Knottenbelt is the arable manager at Peacehill Farm, Wormit in Fife. Peacehill has a mixture of arable crops including broccoli, cauliflower, sprouts and potatoes, winter wheat, winter barley and spring barley. They also grow forage rye and energy beet for their AD plant. This webinar is part of a series of 3 farm software webinars. We will be holding a webinar on financial software on 27th September and one on livestock software on the 14th November.
