Data Driven Decision Making: Finishing Cattle

For the 3rd meeting of this 4 part series, we will have Robert Neill from Upper Nisbet Farm explaining his system with a focus on the data and technology they are using to maximise performance with their finishing cattle. We will also have input from Beef consultant Robert Ramsay and David Bell who will explain some key performance targets for a  commercial finishing beef enterprise.

These meetings are aimed at all who want to improve their knowledge of performance recording and gain practical tips for implementing performance recording in practice.

Performance recording livestock can deliver data to the farm business. A simple system can give farm businesses insights into where to intervene and focus efforts on driving herd efficiency.
