Herd Health Planning – Caithness
Animal Health and Welfare Plans are one of the five elements of the Whole Farm Plan introduced in 2025, and all livestock producers claiming BPS will need to have one in place by 2028. But health planning isn’t just about meeting regulatory requirements, it can also be a valuable tool for improving herd performance, increasing output and boosting profitability.
Join us on Thursday 5th November at the Ulbster Arms Hotel, Halkirk at 11am where we will take you through the whole farm plan elements and our local vets from DS McGregors will demonstrate the potential business improvements that can be achieved through effective herd health planning and helping you see how investment in animal health can translate into improved business performance. We will also be discussing cattle vaccines as we approach the winter months.
Lunch will be provided and spaces are limited, so booking is essential.
