Integrating Trees Network: Walking and Talking Trees With the Imrie Family

Join ITN where the Imrie family will introduce Hillhead, their 500 acre beef and sheep farm, including their awarding winning woodlands.

Planting trees has helped them to maximise productivity on their marginal land, provide shelter and shade, enhance the landscape and biodiversity and provide a business asset for the future.

Discussions will look at the process that changed a ‘No trees’ to a ‘Yes trees’, from the initial thought to the final decision to plant. ITN will talk about objectives, challenges, benefits and more.

ITN will also have a speaker from Scottish Forestry joining them to discuss funding and steps to woodland creation.
