Luther Water Catchment Approach to Flood Mitigation

Book event

At this event we will look at the potential for a “catchment wide” approach to flood mitigation on the Luther Water, a tributary of the North Esk.  We will start at Glensaugh farm at looking at their leaky dam project and how it helps hold water in the hills and uplands.  We will look at different sections of the tributaries down to the main Luther Water and what options are there for flood mitigation.  James Hutton Institute specialists along with SEPA will be on hand to support discussions and give input on potential measures that could help in the future.
