This event provides growers with an opportunity to get a brief update on crop trials from 2022 carried out by Neil Havis and his team of SRUC crop researchers, along with an update on spring cereal variety recommendations for 2023 from Steve Hoad (SRUC agronomy researcher) who is part of the team that selects varieties for the Scottish Cereal Recommended List.

An update on Fertiliser use will also be given by David Ross – SAC Consulting’s NE Scotland Regional Development Manager, looking at the use of Sulphur and assessing the Pro’s and Cons of Liquid Fertiliser, and home mixing.

SRUC Researchers Ian Bingham & Henry Creissen will also highlight the results of Nitrogen efficiency use the benefits of Different Cultivation systems.
