QMS Roxburgh Monitor Farm – Balancing the ‘Sweet Spot’ of Output and Profit
The meeting will follow the Roxburgh Monitor Farmers on their farming to Maximum Sustainable Output (MSO) journey. MSO is a farming approach based on recent studies showing how farm business profitability can be improved, while delivering a positive environmental impact.
The meeting will combine theory and practical decision making in transitioning a farming business to optimise output, increase financial return and reduce environmental impact.
The meeting will begin with an introduction to MSO then into groups to hear from:
- Monitor Farmer Robert Wilson on his progress and future changes to Cowbog.
- Eric Anderson, Scottish Agronomy will discuss the importance of soil health in reducing your inputs.
- Nethergill Associates will be available to answer all your questions.
