A mix of theory, demonstrations and practicals providing you with the necessary skills to get started and keep a healthy flock.

- Breeds and Purpose
- Welfare Requirements
- Tupping and Pregnancy
- Feeding the Ewe
- Health & treatments
- Teeth, feet & udders
- Safe handling
- Injecting and dosing
- Condition scoring
A fun, practical introduction to sheep husbandry!
Lunch is provided so booking is essential.
Open to all prospective and current sheep keepers aged 16+.
Please wear clean, appropriate footwear and clothing for outdoor handling of sheep.
