With an increasing share of consumers placing importance on where and how their food is grown, provenance marketing is a tool you can employ to bridge the gap between the food on people’s plate and its source in the land or water. As the custodians of production, farmers and crofters are uniquely placed to craft and deliver the story of the Scottish countryside, by for example highlighting cultural and geographic specificities, or emphasising growing practices and constraints. In this webinar, our 3 speakers will guide you through:

  • What is provenance marketing, what trends are we seeing in the food and drink sector, and what do consumers look for?
  • Can you to tell the story of your business in a way the adds value?
  • A case study and learnings from a business who has successfully capitalised on Scottish provenance.

The webinar will last 1 hour. Ceri Ritchie from SAC Consulting, Kim Grant from Rural Studio, and Anja Baak from Great Glen Charcuterie will present in the first half, and the second half will be led by discussion! Bring your questions and your queries, and we look forward to seeing you there.
