Women in Agriculture Stornoway – Whole Farm Plan
Please meet in The Croft Room at the Caladh Inn. The Caladh Inn can be found in the above map.
Major changes are planned to the subsidy system this year – are you ready?
We will discuss the new Whole Farm Plans – what’s entailed? What do you need to do now? What can wait? How much will plans cost and what funding is available?
Join the Western Isles women in agriculture group at the Caladh Inn, Stornoway to hear about the proposed changes to farm subsidies, and what you will have to do in order to claim your Basic Payment Scheme from this year.
The meeting will break down each element of the Whole Farm Plan, providing detail on what is needed and whether your existing documentation will meet the minimum standard. We will select one of the options (Biodiversity Audit) to look at in more detail, so, feel free to take your laptop along and see if you can make a start on completing your own habitat maps.
We will be in The Croft Room at the Caladh Inn on the evening of Wednesday 19th March, with refreshments.
All women in crofting and farming very welcome.
