Seasonal and Migrant Workers

Shockingly labour exploitation is the second most common form of modern slavery in the UK after coerced criminality with this issue being prevalent in the agriculture sector. A series of four documents have been produced to equip employers of and seasonal/migrant workers about the importance of creating a fair work nation, the pay and conditions that seasonal workers are entitled to and also the main risk areas of worker exploitation and how to spot the signs. Additionally, there are two reference documents produced by SASA and the Scottish Government for workers on seasonal visas or those with settled or pre-settled status that are linked to this page for you to access.
