Crop establishment is mixed in some areas with tillering occurring in some, but others still a bit behind. The recent frosty weather will have checked the development of any early disease that has crept into crops. On a sunny day it is still worth having a look to see if there is any disease present which would give you a heads up on whether an early spray may be needed when conditions warm up in the New Year.
